![]() To display this volume control, go to the Control Panel and start Sounds and Audio Devices. The SndVol32.exe program controls the volume settings for your system. I do not have any form of a backup on this anymore. Now you should have your volume icon back. In the right pane right click an empty area and choose Paste. Next go to the C: Windows System32 folder and open it. Locate the sndvol32.exe file right click it, choose Copy. Sndvol32.exe error when this system is broken down. Sndvol32.exe is responsible for managing the sound-card volume and running programs properly. As you can't be sure what will creep in under the RADAR with a download, try to take a copy from a friend's system on to a flash drive. It's strange if it's disappeared or moved but that's where to put a copy when you find one. Sndvol32.exe should be in c: windows system32.
